Doming … So what’s that? Doming, also called “permavision” or “bossing”, is a printing technique that involves deposing a few drops of clear resin (polyurethane to be precise) on an adhesive printing. This famous resin forms a relief of up to 2.5 mm thick. You now understand, your logos form a dome shaped … hence the name doming (Thanks Christopher Langan).

Now, why are we interested in that and what are the benefits of this great invention?
The doming is an economic & aesthetic technique to showcase your brand and at the same time increase your awareness through its 3D effect. Doming in five points:
ð A higher added value : The resin enhances your viewing by bulging effect, transparency and brilliance.
- A magnifying effect which increases significantly the visual impact. Is it not the desired effect in any communication?
- A resistant marking that lasts over time. The visual is UV protected and retains the original colors. The dome also withstand dirt and scratches : Press with your fingernail, the trace will disappear after a few seconds.
- An affordable coating in terms of price to showcase your brand.
- An rather new technique which increase more and popular.
